LG Black Optimus (Android 2.2)



LG
is expanding its catalog of smartphone with Android Optimus Black 2.2 (Froyo). A smartphone thinner than the iPhone 4 despite a larger screen (4 inches).
The finesse would it be the new signature of LG? After Optimus 2X, here comes the Optimus Black announced by the South Korean manufacturer as the thinnest smartphone in the world with 9.2 mm thick (0.36 inch and 109 grams on the scale). This new model is powered by the Google OS in the version 2.2 and should be able to migrate to the new version 2.3 (Gingerbread) soon.

This Optimus Black is distinguished by its large 4-inch screen called NOVA. It aims to offer brighter (700 nit) than its competitors but also less energy (about 15%). The smartphone also loads two cameras including a 2-megapixel sensor on the front for video calls.

The user interface UI Optimus 2.0 will also present and allow easy access to messages. Last interesting point, the new mode WiFi Direct, which allows fast data transfer between compatible devices.

The LG Black Optimus will be sold in the first half at a price not disclosed.
